Today was one of those really pondering days. You know when
you get reminded of the big picture in life. The kind of day where you are reminded
of the Eternal Perspective, I was feeling really overwhelmed with the load of
homework and then he went to the Holocaust Museum here in Jerusalem...I learned a lot about myself and where my priorities
should be. The one theme that was repeated so many times with all the stories of
the survivors was the importance of family. I realized how much my family means
to me and how the church puts so much importance on families. I have been very
blessed with my family. ( I love everyone of you) I am so grateful
for the knowledge that I have of the Eternal Families. I am so thankful for the
blessing of my amazing family and that I can be with them forever.

| It was so windy! Maddy and I were having such a hard time keeping our hair in place. |

Later that Week on June 12, 2013 We got to meet Elias Feinzilberg, who is a 95 year old survivor of the Holocaust. He lived through 9 concentration camps. He was seriously so amazing! He had such a happy out look on my life. He amazed me, he lived through so much and yet he was so happy! A great lesson can be learned by him. He was also such a cute old man...I just wanted to give him a Big Hug and a kiss on the cheek!

| This is him, sharing his story...The part that really sticks out to me is when he went back to poland, the city where is family was supposed to be and they were all gone. They had all passed away ( He had 12 siblings). He was only survivor of his family. |

He was so amazing. He also told us about how he meet is wife. He said she was a potato peeler and he was a waiter and she would give him potatoes. He also talked about how gorgeous she was. You could tell that he really loved her. She was also a survivor of the Holocaust. ( She passed 4 years ago.)
After hearing the stories of all these people who had such horrible things that happen to them, you see how lucky you are and you can learn to be happy no matter what is happening in your life.
With Love,
